This Privacy Policy explains what information Saka Villa Estates ("Saka", "we", "us") collects when you visit our website, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, or engage us as a villa-management partner. We aim to be plain in how we handle data: we collect only what we need to operate, we never sell it, and we keep it as long as it is useful to you and the property.
Information we collect
Contact details you give us (name, email, phone, villa address, ownership structure) when you fill out the contact form, send us an email, or sign a management agreement. Newsletter subscribers provide an email address only.
Operating data we generate while running your villa: bookings, guest correspondence (where guests have consented), maintenance logs, vendor invoices, monthly statements, and bank account details for payouts.
Website analytics: anonymised traffic data, page views, and device information, collected through Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and (when set) Facebook Pixel. None of these tools receive personal identifiers from us.
How we use it
To respond to inquiries, send proposals, and operate the management agreement. To deliver monthly statements, transfer payouts, and answer the questions an owner asks during a stay or audit.
To send the monthly newsletter you subscribed to, with an unsubscribe link in every issue. To improve the website and prioritise content based on what visitors actually read.
Who we share it with
Booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Agoda, Expedia, Tripadvisor) and the direct-booking site, only the data they need to take a reservation. Payment processors and banks, only the routing details required to settle payouts. Indonesian tax consultants and notaries we engage on your behalf, only the records they need for filings or permits.
We do not sell or rent owner or guest data to third parties. We do not share data with marketing or data-broker networks.
Where data is stored
Operational records (bookings, statements, photographs, contracts) are stored on cloud infrastructure inside the European Union and Singapore. Newsletter records are held by an email service provider with EU-grade safeguards.
We retain operational records for the duration of your management agreement and seven years after, in line with Indonesian commercial-record requirements. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Owners and subscribers may request a copy of the personal data we hold, ask for corrections, or request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations). Send requests to hello@sakavillaestates.com and we will respond within thirty days.
If you are an EU resident or a citizen of a country with data-protection regulations, the rights granted by your local law apply alongside the policy above.
Updates to this policy
Material changes will be announced in the next monthly newsletter and posted to this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website or the management agreement after a material change constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
